About Us
Berle Transport is a family-owned and operated company specialising in refrigerated road freight transportation and cold storage. The company’s head office and depot are located in Ingleburn NSW, approximately 50 kilometres south-west of the Sydney CBD, along a major road transportation route. With operations dating back to 1974, Berle Transport is an established business with modern facilities and equipment, and a strong reputation for reliability and quality service.
Major customers include Fonterra Dairy, Unilever (Streets Ice Cream), Suprima Bakeries, Bega Cheese, Everest Foods and Real Pet Food Co.

Just as it invests in modern equipment, Berle Transport invests in great staff and a strong company culture. Our friendly team co-operate in-house and with customers to deliver reliable refrigerated transport, cold storage and end-to-end logistical solutions.
Our Equipment
Investment in modern equipment allows Berle Transport to deliver quality, reliable service at every step. Our fleet of semi-trailers and rigid trucks are furnished with cutting-edge refrigeration and tracking technology to ensure we deliver what our customers need, when they need it.
Berle Transport operates a fleet of 45 refrigerated FTE double loader semi-trailers with high-capacity SB400 and SB310 Thermo King refrigeration units. All trailers are fitted with GPS tracking and real-time temperature recording capability. This technology allows management to monitor the freight task and is used by our customers to record on-time delivery information. Berle Transport invests in modern equipment to ensure a quality service for our customers.
All trucks and trailers are washed weekly in the wash bay, ensuring a clean hygienic fleet for our customers’ goods. The cleanliness of our equipment is a top priority at Berle Transport.
Strategic Partnerships
We work closely with our longstanding customers to deliver tailor-made refrigerated transport and storage solutions. By integrating with our customers’ IT systems, we help manage their daily load planning. We have assisted customers with warehouse relocations and provide logistical support for their new business acquisitions.
Berle manages Unilever’s load planning and has delivered rapid-response solutions in the event of Streets Ice Cream factory breakdowns. We were pleased to support Unilever through a recent cold storage restructure. We were also happy to assist our valued customer Fonterra as it relocated from Oxford Cold Storage to NewCold in Melbourne.
